Okay well uhm... You see, my family isnt really going through the best time right now... My parents are divorced, for like, 5 years now. My mom has no job, and my dad is only paying my mom 1500 dollars a month for child support. That is barly enough to hold us up. We are probably moving soon, and I do not want to move. I think. I'm not to sure at the moment. I have fights with my mom every day, and that doesnt really help. I have NO EARTHY IDEA at what to do!!! My dad lives all the way in Oklahoma, 6 hours away from here. I just need some help, because I have no idea what to do with dealing with all of this stress!!!

Moodz,

Sterss is completely natural, and i totally empathise with you, I too am stressed at the moment with all my exams. However, Everybody finds thier own way of dealing with stress. You are more than likely finding it hard to cope with all this stress because of all the pressure you feel. The best thing to do, would be to try and relieve a little of this pressure, by taking things one little step at a time. First of all, help yourself out, by deciding whether you really want to move or not. Being confused about it, is only making you more stressed. Then, instead of arguing with you mother everyday, try calmly explaining to her how you feel. Somtimes getting things off your chest is the best way to feel better. Also, try doing a task, or a hobby, or somthing each day to take your mind of of things, things like that my seem very simple, but they are a good way to calm down. You should take some time for yourself to chill out and relax by doing somthing you enjoy. Pretty soon, you should feel better. :)

Thanks. But I think that one of the reasons that I am not liked that well at school is because I take all my anger out on people at the school...

well then simply Try to relax yourslef and youll be less angry. Anger is derived from stress, but you just need to work on keeping that anger riegned in, and not directed at other people.

Well there are ways of controlling it, one way that works for me is meditation. Though could always get a punching bag or go running. Exercise is a really good way of de-stressing yourself as well as releasing anger.

Ah Moodz I can relate...kinda. (This is Ashleigh((a.k.a. Fyat)) by the way ^^) My parents have been divorced for almost 8 years now and my mom also doesn't have a job, but I live with my dad. All I can really say is that: try and find something that you enjoy, whatever it is make sure you feel relaxed when your done. Like exercising or drawing or reading or anything that just lets you escape and be yourself for awhile and lets you foreget about all the things that are going wrong in your life. And try to make time for that thing everyday if you can. I know for me it was reading. When my parents divorced I think I read about 2-3 books a week and I was only ten, but thats not the point. I know what its like to have your parents split up at a young age, and you can talk to me if you want...Just try to take things as they come and don't worry about things you can't control.
